Governess

Hiring a governess allows you to feel secure and at peace knowing that your children are being cared for and nurtured just like you would have done it.

Our governesses are confident, and educated. They take charge of supervising the care and day to day activities of your child/children as well as managing your household….because we care.

N.B. Please note this is not a job of a Nanny, Nurse, House help, or Baby-sitter

The typical day of a governess includes the following:

• Care, guidance and management of the child
• Pro-active role in planning activities, i.e. School run and activities, Running the home, Holidays, Summer Camp/Coaching, etc
• Development of the child’s independence i.e. Helps to manage personal belongings, bedrooms, play areas, school work, as well as family, personal and leisure time (not domestic duties)
• Ensure, manage and promote the child’s health, safety and hygiene
• Manage education (including tutors), communications with school, progress reporting and assessment
• She is also in charge of recruiting and supervising the household/ domestic staff, i.e., Cook, Nanny, etc
• Educated
• Computer literate
• Good time management skills
• Good supervisory skills
• Excellent command/use of English (Written and Spoken)
• Ability to drive and speak a foreign language an advantage
